Nothing gets much better than being out on the boat on a Florida day.

On Saturday June 8th, 2019, my husband and I once again docked our boat at Palmetto Boat Pier and off we went. It was such a beautiful Saturday morning. We hit the water at 7:00am EST and enjoyed the overcast skies. We ran into a sprinkle or two but it was so very refreshing.

We didn’t go out very far. We really just putzed along, taking in the view. We cast our rod a few times but there was not much biting. It was such a peaceful, serene morning. While my husband cast his rod, I read my devotions and spent time talking with my Daddy (God). Oh and I took lots of pictures.

We have been to Terra Ceia Bay before but each time we go is an adventure in itself. There is always something new to capture and take in. This time I noticed there is a wild bird sanctuary right in Terra Ceia Bay. Daddy God did not disappoint me. As we were making our way back in, there were dolphins playing in the water. They are the most beautiful creatures I have ever seen. So elegant and graceful! They don’t have a care in the world. They just go about minding their own business and every once in a while, they put on a show for their audience; whether that be chasing their meal or coming up for air. Sigh, such a relaxing day.

Until next time…Blessings, Lori Skipper
